About the Scenic City League
The Scenic City League is an independent collegiate summer softball league based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. For three summers, college athletes have come to the Scenic City to sharpen their game, compete, and grow both on and off the field. Now operating on our own, we’re carrying that tradition forward with a clear priority: the players come first.
Our mission is to provide a competitive and supportive summer softball environment that develops college athletes’ skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a stress-free setting. We believe players do their best work when they’re challenged and supported in equal measure, and that’s the balance we set out to accomplish every summer.
Beyond the game, we see the Scenic City League as part of the Chattanooga community. Our athletes are role models. They connect with local youth softball players, build lasting relationships, and show the next generation what the game can look like when it’s played the right way. Throughout the summer, players have everything they need to grow, from a full slate of games to a training complex and top-notch coaching.
As we enter our fourth year and our first as an independent league, we’re excited for what’s ahead. Sign-ups for Summer 2027 will begin soon, and we can’t wait to welcome a new group of athletes to Chattanooga.
